Abbaholics Anonymous

Home

Finally got an Autographed Photo of Agnetha!

This page is for anyone addicted to Abba who wants to be cured... admittedly some         of us don't.  When I hear their voices... I am captivated...doomed, and like it that way... Of course I've only been listening to them for a short time, so the intoxicating effect may eventually wear off.  For those who want help, here's a traditional twelve step program similar to that used by Alcoholics Anonymous and modified for Abbaholics... Good luck brothers and sisters!

1. I admit to being powerless over Abba music and recognize that it's making my life unmanageable.

2. I believe that a power greater than myself can restore my sanity and help me break this addiction.

3. I am making the decision to turn my will and life over to that higher power to break this spell.

4. I will start listening to other music... (select whatever music works for you...)

5. I admit to myself, and to everyone else that I am an Abbaholic.

6. I am ready to have this "higher power" remove the defects in my character that got me into this mess.

7. I humbly ask this "higher power" to remove the defects in my character that got me into this mess.

8. I will make a list of persons that I have "harmed" because of my Abba addition, and make amends.

9. I will make direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would be harmful.

10. I take personal responsibility for my Abbaholism and admit that it is an addiction I need to break.

11. I will carry this message to Abbaholics everywhere and aid them in breaking their addiction.

12. Oh, the hell with it...lets listen to some more Abba!

This site is for Abba addicts and recovering addicts, I’ve told my wife about it... I had to, if she had found out some other way, I’d be sleeping with the dogs.  My daughter knows about the site too, but I haven’t told anyone else… heck, I put up with enough grief around here as it is!   I have to ask myself… what’s worse, being an Abbaholic, or driving a Hyundai?  Here in the heartland, both are frowned upon.
